Founded in 2017, this audience-specialist research and marketing agency has grown steadily since 2021 and now numbers a team of 20+. They are experts in listening to thousands of kids worldwide, helping brands truly understand younger audiences and deliver measurable impact. Their services span research and insights, strategy, creative execution, and paid media, with clients including major entertainment brands.

THE ROLE

As Research Director (Maternity Cover), you will:

• Lead the delivery of both qualitative and quantitative bespoke research projects, from survey design and questionnaires to online communities, IDIs, and panels.
• Manage the full project lifecycle including reporting, analysis, and presenting insights to clients.
• Ensure ethical standards and GDPR compliance, particularly when working with children and young families.
• Strengthen client relationships, identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Mentor and develop the research team, line managing a Research Manager and taking on additional direct reports in the coming months.
• Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to shape strategy and resourcing.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in a research agency or marketing environment.
• Strong grounding in both qualitative and quantitative methods, with a leaning towards quantitative.
• Experience in youth and family research highly preferred.
• Proven track record of growing client relationships and driving commercial impact.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to lead and deliver projects end-to-end for major clients.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and ethical research practices.
