Eton Clarke have partnered with a Global Bank in the search for a Repo Trader (Vice President level) to join its expanding London team. This role focuses on optimization, liquidity raising, and funding management, making it distinct from a pure market-making position.

With ambitious balance sheet growth plans and a rapidly scaling team, this is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping a high-growth platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute repo trades with a focus on liability-side activities rather than market-making.
• Lead collateral optimization strategies and manage tri-party arrangements.
• Raise funding and onboard new clients to support balance sheet growth.
• Monitor and manage key regulatory metrics, including LCR and NSFR.
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives across funding and liquidity.
• Collaborate across treasury, trading, and risk teams to optimize performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• VP-level experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in repo, treasury, collateral optimization, or markets treasury
• Strong technical skills in repo execution and booking.
• Solid understanding of regulatory metrics and funding/liquidity management.
• Ability to develop client relationships and contribute to onboarding and funding initiatives.
• Highly motivated, collaborative, and commercially minded.
