Job Description :

We currently have a great opportunity with a Housing organisation for a Repairs Planner role on a permanent full time basis. This is an office based role located in East London which would require the successful candidate to work 5 days a week in the office.

Job Title: Repairs Planner

Salary : £32,000-£35,000 per annum

Contract : Permanent role, Full time

Location East London (OFFICE BASED - 5 days a week)

Responsibility of a Repairs Planne

  • Promptly handle incoming calls and emails concerning repair matters.
  • Efficiently manage internal systems to schedule staff and subcontractors for assignments.
  • Address challenging repair issues and demanding customers to uphold satisfaction levels.
  • Oversee repair requests, task allocation, and progress monitoring, ensuring regular updates.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with staff, clients, and suppliers, prioritizing effective communication and task coordination.

Requirements for a Repairs Planner

  • Experienced in Social Housing and Repair/Maintenance, skilled in job planning and scheduling.
  • Understand trade assignments for both staff and subcontractors.
  • Proficient in minimising work backlog through effective planning and managing additional tasks.
  • Familiar with estimating job duration and ensuring safety, including asbestos awareness.
  • Office-based role in Kent with emphasis on written English for complaint responses, strong computer skills, and clear communication with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Orchard experience desirable
