I am looking for a Repairs manager to join a local authority in Warwickshire. The Repairs manager will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the stock portfolio, whilst overseeing the in house repairs team. This role offers a generous package (see below).
Repairs Manager duties: - Provide strong leadership and mentoring to the repairs team, ensuring they are operating to their full potential
- Lead and manage the repairs team, ensuring the service is delivered within budget and to a high standard, with a customer first culture
- Be accountable for the strategic planning, legal compliance, service improvement plan and performance of the service

What is required for the Repairs Manager role: - Experience managing budgets over £5million in a social housing repairs setting
- Management qualifications/ equivalent
- Experience managing a large workforce
- Awareness of asbestos, legionella, CDM, HHSRS, fire risk and damp & mould
- Proven experience preparing, procurement, monitoring and managing service provision contracts.
