Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Business Support/Administration Manager for our client a local government organisation in Bristol.
The successful candidate will involve managing reports of Damp & Mould within Bristol City organisation's homes.
This role is a 5 month contract with the possibility to extend. This posts will be fully office based for the first 2 to 3 month, when fully competent, hybrid working for potentially 2 days per week at home dependent on circumstances and if sufficient office cover can be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
- From receiving the initial report, you will be arranging necessary repairs and inspections and making appointments, logging & monitoring cases, responding to enquiries in the shared inbox and keeping residents updated on progress.
- Receive and respond to customer/stakeholder enquiries, in line with council policies and procedures always providing excellent customer service.
- Accurately raise reported repairs and prioritise in line with agreed timescales, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
- Ensure that repair requests are allocated, planned, and scheduled effectively to maximise the use of resources and completed "right first-time".
- Pro-actively monitor the progression of allocated jobs throughout the day and communicating with operatives, surveyors, and customers to ensure the timely completion of works.
- Ensure operatives have acceptably completed repairs using their mobile devices and give feedback to trade managers and supervisors if there are any issues.
- Make outbound contact to customers/stakeholders as required and make enquiries on behalf of customers/stakeholders and arrange appointments.
Personal Requirements:
- Strong customer service & IT skills are essential, as is an ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- A knowledge of Housing Services or scheduling would be an advantage but not essential.
- Proven experience of working in a customer service environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, and telephone manner.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a repairs and maintenance environment (Desirable).
- Knowledge or experience of organising repairs using a scheduling system (Desirable).
Working Hours: 37hrs / 8:00am - 16:30pm / Monday to Friday
Pay: £18.01 per hr
