We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our Energy Markets Team on a permanent basis, based in our offices at Westwood, Coventry.

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our operations meet evolving regulatory standards, supporting the UK's transition to a smarter, greener energy system.

Regulatory Compliance SpecialistHere's what you'll be doing
  • Analyse new energy products for additional regulatory obligations and reporting requirements.
  • Implement and maintain policies in line with Group standards and UK regulations.
  • Review and document regulatory and compliance errors, supporting leadership with clear reporting.
  • Conduct ad-hoc call monitoring to detect non-compliant activity and maintain access to recordings for regulatory queries.
  • Support UK EMIR & REMIT reporting requirements and monitor developments in exemptions and obligations.
  • Conduct horizon scanning for new UK regulatory updates and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Manage and update online training content, ensuring alignment with UK regulations and annual review cycles.
What we need from you
  • Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements including REMIT, EMIR, and related frameworks.
  • Experience in policy implementation, compliance documentation, and regulatory reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and documentation skills with the ability to distil complex topics.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with legal, compliance, and operational teams.
  • Inquisitive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.

It Would Be Great If You Also Had

  • Experience in training management and deployment.
  • Familiarity with off-market transaction analysis and compliance monitoring tools.
  • A background in energy markets or financial services compliance.
