Here's a taste of what you'll be doing

  • Translating complex regulations into clear, meaningful guidance that empowers colleagues.
  • Nurturing strong, respectful relationships with external partners like Ofgem, DESNZ and Citizens Advice.
  • Supporting the creation of thoughtful responses to consultations and requests from regulators.
  • Helping build awareness and confidence in regulatory topics across our teams.
  • Working hand-in-hand with others to explore risks and shape people-centred solutions.
  • Assessing regulatory changes and considering how they may affect our customers and teams.
  • Acting as a trusted voice in shaping a positive, inclusive compliance culture.
  • Collaborating with the Chief of Staff team and other departments to drive shared goals.

  • Experience in or an interest in compliance, regulation, energy or policy work.
  • Familiarity with organisations like Ofgem, DESNZ, or Citizens Advice.
  • Some understanding of areas such as data privacy, consumer protection or advertising standards.
  • A curious mindset and a love for learning and sharing knowledge.
  • A collaborative spirit-ready to roll up your sleeves, ask questions and offer ideas.
  • Confidence using data or insight to shape decisions.
  • Experience juggling multiple projects thoughtfully across different teams.
  • A drive to make a positive, meaningful impact through your work.
