About the Services
- Two adjacent residential services: supporting adults with complex needs including step-down from hospital settings;caring for adults with autism, mental health issues, and complex behaviours.
- Both homes are small, person-centred environments with excellent transport links, local amenities, and community access
Your Role
As Registered Manager, you will lead both services, ensuring high-quality, compliant person-centred care. Your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations for both homes
- Managing staff recruitment, training, supervision, and development
- Ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, policies, and regulations
- Developing and maintaining personalised care plans and behaviour support framework
- Leading on safeguarding, risk management, and quality assurance
- Liaising with families, professionals, and funding bodies
About You
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), ideally in care management
- Proven experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager in adult residential settings (e.g., mental health, complex needs, autism)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Confidence in CQC frameworks and mental health legislation
- Experience with positive behaviour support frameworks, multidisciplinary working, and person-centred care planning preferred
