Registered Manager - Randstad Care : Job Details

Randstad is looking for an experienced Service Manager to take over a successful independent youth homlessness organisation. Our client offers a competitive starting salary in the range of £35,000-£42,000 dependent on experience and qualifications. This service supports 16-25 year olds who are either homeless, in threat of homelessness, or coming out of care. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the service, suppoting your team leaders to exceed expectations and make a real and lasting change for young people!

A successful Service Manager will be responsible for:

• Working effectively with all stakeholders
• Supervising staff and maintaining staff rota and logs
• Supporting young adults experiencing or at risk of homlessness
• Developing connections with local authorities and community groups
• Coordinating with wider care team
• Maintaining professional manner and working to National Care Standards
• Working flexibly, a combination of remote working and site vists

To be successful in your application, you will:

• Have demonstrable leadership qualities
• Have strong communication skills
• Register under the PVG scheme
• Full driving licence
• A Management qualification satisfying SSSC requirements
• SVQ Level 4
• Good awareness of issues relating to homelessness.
• Effective numeracy/data interpretation skills.
• Experience of managing staff.
• Experience of tender/funding application processes and project development.
