Registered Manager - LD Children Services (OFSTED)

Location: Near Burnley

Salary: c£50,000 + Bonus

The Opportunity:

As the Registered Manager, you will step into the management of the already established team, running the day to day operations of this GOOD rated service, with support from senior management.

As the Registered Manager you will create a nurturing environment, working closely with your team to ensure the children in your care receive the best possible outcomes.

Our client, an independent provider, specialises in offering residential care for children aged 8-15 with Learning Disabilities. Known for fostering a supportive and inclusive culture, they are now searching for an experienced individual adept at managing residential care services for young people, with a strong proficiency in utilising online systems..

Responsibilities:

- Leadership and Team Building: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of caring professionals who are equally committed to our mission. Foster a collaborative and supportive culture that encourages growth and professional development.

- Service Development: Work closely with stakeholders, including families, social services, and relevant authorities, to design and implement individualised care plans that meet the unique needs of each child or young person in our care.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the service adheres to all necessary regulations and standards, maintaining the highest levels of safeguarding, health, and safety.

- Continuous Improvement: Embrace innovation and seek opportunities to enhance our service, staying at the forefront of best practices.

- Financial Management: Oversee budgetary matters, making informed decisions to ensure resources are optimised for the best possible outcomes.

Requirements:

- Proven Experience: You have a demonstrable track record of successfully managing and leading a care service for children and young people.

- Qualifications: The ideal candidate will hold a Level 5 in leadership & management

- Passion and Compassion: Your genuine empathy for young individuals with learning disabilities

- Leadership: You possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, empowering your team to deliver outstanding care and support.

- Regulatory Knowledge: A strong understanding of OFSTED regulations, standards, and safeguarding requirements in the Children's care sector.
