Scope We are looking to hire a Regional Travel Manager to join Houlihan Lokey in our London office. This position will be hybrid. This role reports to our Global Head of Travel and supports ongoing operations and management of Houlihan Lokey's travel program for the EMEA region. ResponsibilitiesAs a Regional Travel Manager, you will:
  • Provide impeccable internal customer service, to Houlihan Lokey travellers and PAs, as the internal point of contact for Houlihan Lokey Travel Services in EMEA
  • Effectively and quickly intake, triage, and solve issues by engaging with Houlihan Lokey's selected travel agency operations team
  • Provide support for and train employees on Houlihan Lokey's selected online travel booking tool (currently Concur)
  • Track, follow-up, and close all Travel Services issues raised by travellers and travel arrangers in their region, escalating when necessary
  • Provide an always open" service experience to key stakeholders
  • Support the Head of Global Travel on strategic directives and projects
  • Serve as subject matter experts regarding airlines, and hotels in their region
  • Stay up to date on technology offered by Travel Management Companies (TMC) used by Houlihan Lokey
  • Be aware of governmental and regulatory changes within region that may affect travellers or Houlihan Lokey Travel Policy
  • Provide new hire training on Travel Policy
  • Own and maintain relationships with regional preferred vendors, including running quarterly meetings with key suppliers to ensure the relationships are delivering benefit to Houlihan Lokey and that SLA's/KPI's are being met, vendors include:
    • Travel Provider
    • Airlines
    • Hotels
    • Chauffeur/Taxi companies
  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc travel reporting and analysis requirements within region
  • Produce and collate data yearly for carbon emissions/sustainability reporting
  • Support special projects as needed
Basic Qualifications
  • Excellent understanding of travel industry
  • Business Travel Management with at least 5 years' experience working as a Travel Manager, Travel Agency Account Manager including experience of dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Relationship building, gaining consensus, and adoption methods
  • Previous experience preparing travel reports
  • Previous experience working with data and data analysis
  • Intermediate to advanced levels of Excel skills
