Regional Management Accountant - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Senior Finance are recruiting a regional Management Accountant for a successful construction business based in Coleshill, Birmingham.  This is a new role that has been created due to the expansion of the business, and with ambitious growth plans for the region, they are looking to hire a newly qualified Accountant who is keen to develop their career.

You will be responsible for the production of the monthly management accounts for the West Midlands region, as well as business partnering with operational colleagues, and providing financial input to their commercial decision making.

Responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Production and submission of weekly cash forecasts
• Completion of audit packs and audit preparation
• Ensuring compliance with the Group policies and processes
• Production of tax packs
• Variance analysis
• Production of budgets and forecasts
• Valuation reviews and involvement with the operational team.
• Attending Board meetings and weekly operations meetings
• Trial balance review
• Supervision and mentoring of the Assistant Accountant.

Key skills / qualifications:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
• Excellent excel skills
• Attention to detail
• Commercial acumen
