We have taken a rare and rather unique position for a highly successful health & social care provider to join their team as a Regional Business Development Manager.

Our client specialise in high-end domiciliary, live-in and complex care at home and have a reputation of providing the very highest levels of care and support to their clients.

Due to the complexities of the care sector it would be highly advantageous for candidates to have worked in this industry and have a thorough knowledge of home care.

You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in line with growth strategy. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, local authorities, and community organisations, to expand care services and increase impact.

Duties Include:

  • Identify new business opportunities: Proactively seek out and secure partnerships and collaborations across the designated regions. This includes Private Care, NHS and Local Authority.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies: Create actionable plans to expand service reach.
  • Build strategic relationships: Establish and maintain strong connections with healthcare providers, local authorities, and community organisations.
  • Lead community engagement: Plan and deliver initiatives such as wellbeing programmes and local partnership events.
  • Prepare proposals: Write and present compelling business proposals and service packages to potential partners.
  • Market research: Monitor local trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities to inform business strategy.
  • Collaborate internally: Work with care delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation of new services.
  • Reporting: Track KPIs and provide regular progress updates to senior management.

What you will need:

  • Proven track record in business development ideally within the care sector
  • Strong understanding of care services and CQC
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to build sustainable business relationships and influence at all levels
  • Self motivated with a desire to grow business
  • Full UK driving license

The salary for this position is negotiable on experience but we envisage a package of around £40,000 - £50,000 is realistic. This is a truly amazing opportunity that offers excellent career growth!
