Your Graduate Scheme Journey
Year 1: Health & Wellbeing Coach
This is a remote based role, but with regular travel to and across the Kensington, Chelsea, and Westminster boroughs. Therefore, for your first-year placement, you must reside within close proximity to this area.
What is the role about?
Our One You Kensington, Chelsea, and Westminster service aims to meet the needs of its residents by offering personal or group sessions to support with making small, positive changes such as eating better, moving more, losing weight or stopping smoking.
The main purpose of a Health & Wellbeing Coach is to support their caseload with identifying and setting realistic health goals, and supporting them to build the knowledge, motivation, and skills they need to make sustainable lifestyle changes. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to start their career in public health, enjoys working with a wide range of people, and is able to provide high-quality, non-judgemental advice and guidance.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Delivering 1:2:1 or group-based interventions to local residents tailored to desired behaviour change
Capturing key metrics at different points in the participants journey and progress
Liaise with professionals including GPs and primary care staff to promote and generate referrals to the service
Years 2 & 3
Rotate into a new operational role within Reed Wellbeing or our other 3 divisions, or into different departments across the Support and People functions (e.g. Marketing, Finance, IT, HR).
Alternatively, rotate into a new role across the Reed Group, such as a Sales Executive at Reed.co.uk or a Recruitment Consultant for Reed Talent Solutions).
Rotations may be based on new contracts and operational needs, meaning they could be located anywhere in the UK.

Required Skills & Qualifications
A 2:1 undergraduate degree or higher in a related field (i.e public health, nutrition, psychology, nutrition, exercise).
Self-motivation and a target-driven mindset.
An understanding of or interest in working with individuals or groups to achieve behavioural change.
Resilience and the ability to handle emotionally challenging situations.
Exceptional interpersonal and mediation skills.
