The Role: Bookkeeper

You’ll play a key role in supporting a range of clients with their financial needs. Responsibilities include:

  • General bookkeeping for multiple clients
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Liaising with HMRC and resolving queries
  • Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
  • Payroll journals
  • CIS returns

About You

We’re looking for someone with previous experience in an accountancy practice. Ideally, you’ll be AAT qualified or part-qualified, but strong experience without formal qualifications will also be considered.  We are open to applicants seeking either part time or full time.

You’ll also need:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Dext, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong communication and client relationship abilities
  • A professional, positive attitude
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to office location)
