Recycling Operative - Jobstore UK : Job Details

Jobstore are recruiting for Recycling Operatives for an immediate start on our clients location in Bury to carry our general recycling front of line sort duties.

We are looking for candidates with a positive and committed work attitude who are able to carry out labour intensive duties.

Main Duties and Responsibilities to include: ·

Responsibility for sorting and segregating both recyclable and non-recyclable materials within a busy recycling facility ·

Ensure quality in separation and consistency rates are maximised

Ensure compliance with statutory and company obligations and Health & Safety

Ensure daily housekeeping rules are adhered to at all times

Adhere to the principles of Manual Handling at all times

You must have; Good organisational skills · Good communication skills · Ability to work well with others · Pays attention to detail · Be prepared for heavy lifting.

Working hours are 7.00am to 17.00pm Monday to Friday - with possible overtime at the weekend. This is an ongoing position that may offer permanent work for those that want it.

Previous experience in a recycling environment beneficial although not essential.
