We’re now looking for a confident, proactive Recruitment Coordinator / Resourcer to join our Wigan-based team. This is a key role with real scope for development, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a long-term career in recruitment.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll support the full recruitment lifecycle, with a focus on candidate sourcing, coordination, and client service. Key responsibilities include:
- Candidate Sourcing & Engagement
- Proactively search for candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, and internal databases
- Write compelling job adverts and manage responses
- Conduct initial screening calls and assess suitability
- Recruit for high-volume roles including pickers & packers, production operatives, FLT drivers, machine operators, and warehouse operatives
- Recruitment Coordination
- Schedule interviews and liaise with clients and candidates
- Arrange and present group inductions for new starters
- Maintain accurate records and update CRM systems
- Support compliance and onboarding processes
- Out-of-Hours Support
- Be available on-call one evening per week and one weekend in four (via work mobile) to handle urgent queries or candidate issues
- This is a light-touch responsibility and does not require physical attendance
- Client & Team Support
- Assist with campaign planning and outreach
- Contribute to visual materials (e.g. carousels, infographics) for LinkedIn and email
- Collaborate with the Director on strategic projects and exclusive client briefs
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who brings both confidence and care to their work. You’ll ideally have:
- Recent experience in a recruitment, resourcing, or a coordination role (agency or in-house) IS A MUST
- Excellent IT skills and strong written English, including grammar
- Good customer service skills and a professional phone manner
- A proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience using LinkedIn and Facebook for business purposes is a huge plus
- Comfort with tech tools (CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Canva or similar)
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is preferable
- A genuine interest in people, business, and long-term career development
