Recruitment Consultant - Pertemps Talent Acquisition : Job Details

Pertemps Crawley are looking for an enthusiastic and confident recruitment consultant to join their team. Whilst we are open to applications from various experience levels, the ideal candidate will have previous exposure to sales, business development or recruitment. Ultimately you will be career driven, personable and take pride in your work.The successful candidates will have the ability to utilise excellent communication and people skills to engage with both candidates and clients to ensure all interactions with Pertemps are positive and informative. Pertemps are the UKs largest independent recruitment agency, possessing over six decades of rich history and are dedicated to the development of our people having been awarded for the Princess Royal Training Award which recognises how we constantly raise the bar and act as a beacon for excellent practice. The role:You will be working with our Crawley office, sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to assess key competencies that meet our clients’ specifications. It will also be your responsibility to develop and nurture exceptional relationships with clients to bring on new business. You will be enrolled onto our excellent 16-week training programme where you will learn both the foundation and advanced skills/knowledge needed to become a successful recruitment consultant.

• Attending clients’ meetings, acting as a Pertemps brand ambassador, and providing a consultative approach.
• Sourcing and screening candidates for a variety of permanent vacancies.
• Understanding candidates career aspirations and building relationships.
• Advertising roles and also pro-actively searching for candidates via job boards and social media channels.
• Carrying out competency-based virtual interviews.
• Bringing on new clients and nurturing and maintaining existing client relationships.

Requirements:To be a successful Recruitment Consultant you will have the following skills and experience:

• You'll need loads of energy, the ability to think on your feet and work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

• Capable of holding business conversations with clients to understand their business/staffing needs.

• Skilled at understanding the career aspirations of candidates to advise them of suitable roles.

• Confident in offering innovative recruitment solutions to your clients.
