Reconciliations Specialist - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half are pleased to be supporting a Bristol based client to recruit experienced project accountants with strong reconciliation expertise to join a short-term contract running from Monday 18th August to mid-October.

This is a fast-paced role focused on delivering critical clear-up work ahead of year-end.

Project Accountant - Reconciliations SpecialistContract | Hybrid (50/50)Up to £250/day via UmbrellaStart ASAP until mid-October

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Lead and manage reconciliation activities across both vendor accounts (P2P) and bank accounts (O2C) for key entities.
• Identify and resolve issues such as missing invoices, mismatched payments, open refunds, and unallocated bank items.
• Ensure timely clearance of all transactions and accurate posting to the appropriate accounts.
• Monitor and manage P&L impacts throughout the reconciliation process.
• Collaborate with both finance and non-finance teams, including in-country and offshore teams, to resolve discrepancies and ensure deadlines are met.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Inquisitive and analytical mindset.
• Agile, proactive, and highly target-driven.
• Proven experience in a reconciliations project.
