Job Title: Receptionist / Administrator (Temporary)Location: MiddlesbroughHours: Full-time, 09:00 – 17:00 (Monday – Friday)Pay: £16.70 per hour (umbrella).PAYE £13.26 Exclusive of Holiday PayPAYE £14.86 Inclusive of Holiday PayDo you have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills? Are you confident managing a busy reception and providing a high level of professional administrative support?We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist/Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role, providing front-of-house and administrative support across multiple sites.You will be the first point of contact for service users, visitors, and partner agencies, ensuring they are greeted and supported in a professional and welcoming manner. Alongside reception cover, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service through a wide range of administrative duties.Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing reception cover across multiple sites, greeting visitors and handling enquiries.
  • Offering professional administrative support to managers, staff, and service users.
  • Handling clerical tasks including filing, photocopying, correspondence, and database management.
  • Scheduling appointments, organising meetings, and supporting events.
  • Maintaining accurate records and management information systems.
  • Processing invoices, orders, and financial administration tasks.
  • Liaising with colleagues and partner organisations to ensure smooth operations.
About You: To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • A professional, friendly, and understanding approach when dealing with staff and service users.
  • Excellent IT skills and confidence with Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience providing administration support in a busy, customer-facing environment.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude with excellent attention to detail.
Additional Information:
  • This is a temporary role, offered on a full-time basis.
  • Due to the nature of the role, a full DBS check (adults & children) is required – this will be arranged if you are successful.
