Our client in the Uxbridge area is seeking a full time Receptionist to join their onsite team. You will be the first point of contact for anyone visiting the office, ensuring that guests have a positive experience from the moment they arrive. This role requires a polished professional who can manage front-of-house operations efficiently and with a welcoming attitude.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Answer and screen calls, take messages, and arrange callbacks.
- Meet and greet all visitors and issue appropriate visitor passes.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and manage refreshment requirements.
- Arrange couriers and taxis as needed.
- Sort and distribute post.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area.
- Keep office supplies stocked and replenish as necessary.
- Conduct weekly fire alarm testing in conjunction with the Health & Safety/Facilities Manager.
- Manage the reception fridge and ensure it is well-presented.
- Monitor the reception helpdesk inbox and action cases where necessary.
- Provide ad-hoc secretarial support as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Friendly and positive demeanor with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proven work history in a similar receptionist or front-of-house role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
