Join our reputable firm of solicitors in Harrow as a Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment. This position is ideal for someone who is professional, friendly, and committed to excellent client service.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Greet and welcome clients as they arrive at the office, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Direct clients to the appropriate lawyer or office within the firm.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, providing basic information when needed.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage calendars for attorneys.
- Ensure the reception area and all common areas are tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
- Process client payments and maintain financial records.
- Assist with legal document preparation as required.
- Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
