A prestigious investment management firm based in the heart of the West End is seeking a polished and proactive Receptionist to join their front-of-house team on a maternity cover basis. Initially offered on a 3-month temporary contract, there is strong potential for the role to extend up to 12 months. You'll be working alongside another Receptionist to ensure a seamless, welcoming experience for all clients and visitors.Location: West End, LondonContract: Temporary (3-month rolling contract with potential to extend to 9–12 months)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMStart Date: Mid-MayWhat You’ll Be Doing:As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in representing the firm’s professional and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting clients and visitors, offering refreshments
• Managing meeting rooms and coordinating bookings
• Handling telephone and email enquiries
• Overseeing the reception inbox
• Ordering catering supplies and managing daily lunch orders
• Managing incoming and outgoing post, and arranging couriers
• Maintaining reception and facilities spreadsheets
• Supporting the organisation of events and office socials

Who You Are:You will be an experienced Receptionist who is confident, highly organised, and takes pride in delivering exceptional front-of-house service. Professional presentation and a positive, proactive attitude are essential.Key Skills & Requirements:

• 1+ years' experience in a Receptionist or Front of House role within finance, professional services, or a corporate environment
• Highly organised with excellent multitasking abilities
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
• Immaculately presented with strong attention to detail
• Confident using your initiative and handling a variety of tasks independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
