An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Minute Taker to join the Safeguarding and Reviewing Unit Administration Team within the Children and Young People’s Service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver high-quality administrative support while handling sensitive information.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Live minute taking of conferences and ensuring the distribution of minutes to attendees post-event.
- Managing electronic diaries, sending out meeting invitations, and handling data input using Microsoft Office and dedicated social care recording systems.
- Dealing with enquiries from the public and internal/external professionals both on the telephone and face-to-face.
- Operating independently using your own initiative and as part of a team to support Child Protection Conference Chairs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with social care recording systems.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and emotive information with a strong understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
- Experience in administrative roles, preferably within a similar setting.
