Your new roleWe are working with a school in the St Helens area who are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is passionate about early childhood education to work within their reception class. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to make a real difference. This position is to start in September on a full-time temporary contract with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.Key duties are not limited to:

• Support the development of children's social, emotional and motor skills
• Support the teacher in delivering the curriculum
• Ensure all children are engaged in learning and activities
• Develop children's language skills
• Work with smaller groups to support their learning development
• Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour

What you'll need to succeed

• Full right to work in the UK
• DBS
• Experience working with young children
• Level 2 TA qualification desirable
• Compassionate and Patient
• Great communication skills
• Pro-active and enthusiastic
