Blue Diamond Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-established, national house builder who are expanding their Commercial team with a proven Quantity Surveyor.

Recognised as an award-winning, top ten house builder, this opportunity suits an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to join a thriving team based in Bristol, supporting developments across the South West region.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role within the Commercial Team, taking ownership of the financial delivery for a portfolio of high-quality housing developments. You’ll ensure all surveying activities align with company procedures and commercial targets, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, cost control, and value engineering.

• Managing project budgets and forecasting material and labour costs

• Procuring subcontractor packages and overseeing all associated documentation

• Preparing detailed valuations and cost reports for internal review

• Monitoring ongoing site costs and project performance

• Ensuring full compliance with company policies and industry regulations

• Building effective working relationships with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants

This Quantity Surveyor role is suited to a commercially astute, confident professional with excellent attention to detail. You’ll be managing multiple live developments, so strong communication, negotiation and time management skills are essential.

• Competitive salary up to £60,000 basic
