About the Role:

My client strives to be the contractor of choice for prestigious clients and the workplace of choice for exceptional individuals. Currently, we're seeking Quantity Surveyors for positions based in Ireland (Dublin & Kildare). Quantity Surveyors in this role will oversee all aspects of surveying and commercial functions across various projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and update contract budgets
  • Manage contractual and legal aspects of projects
  • Collaborate closely with the Surveying Manager
  • Maintain accurate contract records
  • Generate monthly JCR’s and JCS’s
  • Participate in contractor handover meetings
  • Attend bi-weekly contract review meetings
  • Update cash reporting and collection procedures
  • Identify risks and develop risk management plans
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and the professional team

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in construction methods and technologies
  • Expertise in measurement and valuation
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
  • Understanding of subcontract/material orders and procurement processes
  • Competency in preparing and interpreting commercial reports
  • Familiarity with various contract types, including bespoke and standard forms
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards, quality procedures, and the construction industry landscape
