Quality Manager - Newmarket - £60k

We are currently seeking a Quality Manager on behalf of our Newmarket based client, this is a brilliant role for a Quality Manager with drive to lead the quality function and promote operational excellence across the business. Hours: Monday-Friday 8am -5pm

Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays

Responsibilities:

• Lead and maintain compliance with ISO9001 standards and internal quality procedures, looking after the companies QMS.
• Manage a team of Quality Engineers, ensuring they are on track with day to day targets, and training and developing their skills.
• Manage both internal and external audits.
• Look after any customer complaints and conduct roots caused analysis into any errors.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively between internal departments, Production, R&D and Sales.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience as a Quality Manager/Team Leader is essential.
• Someone that focuses on continuous improvement and thinks creatively about new ideas.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• A team player that can lead from the front, someone with a can do, will do culture.
• ISO9001 Experience.
