Quality Manager - Reed : Job Details

Reed have partnered with a Global Engineering business in the Cynon valley who are going through an exciting amount of growth.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager/ Lead with strong leadership focused on driving continuous improvement, enhancing operational excellence, and leading strategic quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading site-wide quality improvement initiatives and embedding quality tools into operations 
• Creating and optimising value stream maps to reduce waste from machining to final assembly
• Supporting the implementation of AS9100 and managing internal audit systems
• Collaborating cross-functionally to identify insourcing opportunities and improve recoveries
• Driving supplier development and resolving customer quality concerns

Skills/Experience:

• Possesses an in-depth working knowledge of business Quality Management systems.
• Clear understanding of the principles and practical applications necessary of a robust manufacturing Quality Management system.
• Ability to facilitate and lead quality improvement activities (8D, PFMEA, etc).
• Ability to coach and development ownership of conformance to requirements by all departments. 
• Understand the requirements of project management phases and structure, specifically for NPI activities and projects.
