As a Quality Inspection Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in making sure every product meets the highest standards. You’ll carry out inspections, support audits, solve problems, and drive continuous improvements that keep systems reliable and trusted worldwide.
What you’ll be doingNo two days are the same. In this role, you’ll:
? Inspect products and processes against strict quality standards.? Spot defects, document results, and drive corrective actions.? Work hands-on with inspection tools, keeping equipment calibrated and reliable.? Support and learn from audits (internal and external).? Investigate customer complaints and help find solutions.? Keep records up-to-date and organised, making sure nothing slips through the cracks.? Work closely with production teams—sharing inspection results and ensuring quality awareness is embedded across the organisation.? Be involved in improving the Quality Management System (QMS), including ISO 9001 processes.? Contribute ideas for continuous improvement—your voice matters here.
What we’re looking forProven experience in quality inspection, quality assurance, or a similar role within manufacturing or engineering.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent is ideal).
Familiarity with inspection methods, measuring tools, and calibration.
A sharp eye for detail with strong documentation/reporting skills.
Someone proactive, curious, and committed to improving processes.
Great communicator—comfortable working with production teams, managers, and customers.
Happy to train in some areas, but must have proven experience in quality inspection, quality assurance, or similar within manufacturing or engineering.
