Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Quality Engineer to join their growing team.About the Role:As the Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality from design to delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and supply chain to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure compliance with customer and industry standards through APQP and PPAP documentation.Key Responsibilities:
- As the Quality Engineer, you will lead quality activities during NPI to ensure successful launch of new products
- Develop and maintain PPAP submissions in line with customer requirements
- Drive APQP processes and ensure all quality deliverables are completed
- Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters
- Support internal and external audits and maintain ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards
Requirements:
- Requirements for Quality Engineer include; Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of NPI, PPAP, APQP, and quality tools (FMEA, Control Plans, etc.)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and ideally IATF 16949 standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality systems
