Quality Engineer - White Label Recruitment : Job Details

Are you a Quality Engineer with a background in welding or fabrication looking for your next challenge? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business near Wakefield, where you’ll play a key role in strengthening quality processes, reducing non-conformances, and driving lasting improvements.

The Role:

As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and development of the Integrated Management System to ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, EN1090, and where applicable, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. You’ll coordinate the non-conformance process (NCR) and proactively identify and mitigate quality-related risks across operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:

• Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with ISO 9001, EN1090, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
• Coordinate and manage the NCR process
• Conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective/preventive actions, and verify effectiveness
• Create and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
• Lead and support internal and external audits

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a welding or fabrication environment
• Experience managing NCRs
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• ISO 9001 auditing certification
• Confident communicator, capable of engaging at all levels
