Quality Control/Quality Assurance Specialist – Fashion

We’re looking for a QC/QA Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of quality across the entire production process. From initial samples to final inspections, your role will be essential in ensuring our client’s products meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Production Quality Checks
- Evaluate and approve garment samples, trims, and fabrics.
- Review tech packs and ensure supplier alignment with specifications.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential quality issues early.
Final Inspections
- Perform final random inspections (FRIs) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Oversee shipment sample checks and review inspection reports.
- Implement corrective actions where necessary.
Quality Assurance Processes
- Develop and implement SOPs and quality checklists.
- Ensure adherence to AQL standards and maintain detailed inspection records.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes.
Vendor Management
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality compliance.
- Train vendor QC teams on brand standards and best practices.
- Support onboarding of new vendors with clear quality expectations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with design, production, and merchandising teams.
- Provide feedback to technical and product development teams on recurring issues.
Sustainability and Compliance
- Ensure production processes meet environmental and ethical standards.
- Monitor compliance with certifications such as GOTS, OEKO-TEX, and WRAP.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in QC/QA within the fashion or garment industry.
- Strong understanding of garment construction and textile properties.
- Familiarity with ISO, AQL, and other quality standards.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
