Qualified Accountant (Practice) - CT Recruitment Services Ltd : Job Details

Clarity are working with a local accountancy practice based in Farnborough, they are a provider of accounting services for limited companies, small businesses, and sole traders. Based in modern, town centre offices.

This is a full-time, office-based role for a Qualified Accountant.

As a Qualified Accountant, you will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks, such as bookkeeping, preparing monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasting, VAT accounting, and budgeting. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients maintain accurate financial records and make informed business decisions.

You will also be keen to answer questions from other team members and help with the smooth running of the office as well as helping to develop the skills of junior team members when required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and budgeting

• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Tax Calc)

• Familiarity with UK VAT regulations and experience in preparing VAT returns

• Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification

• Prior experience in providing accounting services to small businesses is a plus
