Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our fostering team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has recently qualified and is looking to develop their skills and experience in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments of prospective foster carers, including home visits and interviews.
• Providing support and guidance to foster carers throughout the fostering process.
• Liaising with other professionals and agencies involved in the care of children, including social workers, schools, and health professionals.
• Undertaking regular visits and reviews with foster carers and children in placement.
• Assessing and managing any risks or concerns relating to placements.
• Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions as required.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes (required).
