QC Controller - Temp - Perm - Kingdom People : Job Details

We are working with our client who are recruiting for QC inspectors to join their quality team.

The role involves the inspection of fresh produce to specific customer specification. Highlighting any deviations from specifications and providing the customer with accurate QC reports..

Full training for this position is provided however previous experience in quality inspection is advantageous.

The main duties of this important position within the business

• Produce QC inspections
• Compile QC reports.
• Update our online QC system of changes in quality.
• Communicate with both internal / external customers providing fruit quality updates.

You will need to be computer literate and understand both written / spoken English and possess good communication skills and be able to work on your own and as part of a team.

The role involves working in different temperature-controlled areas where all the appropriate PPE is provided to ensure you are comfortable and able to perform the QC duties.

This is not an auditing / desk based role. The position is for experienced QC's or people who want to start a career in quality control

Key attributes required for this role.

• Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Organisational skills.
• Good communication skills
• High level of interpersonal skills
• attention to detail.
• Previous experience in production / manufacturing environment advantageous

Due to our location own transport is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

ROP:

£12.25 PH semi-skilled - Not trained.

£13.45 PH multi skilled - Fully Trained

Work pattern: 4 on 2 off rotating.

Average hours: 40 - 45 per week.
