Are you a chemistry graduate (or equivalent level) looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced laboratory environment? We are currently recruiting for a QC Analyst to join a well-established chemical company in Manchester on a 3-month fixed term contract..

What You’ll Do:

In this role, you'll be supporting the laboratory team in managing a high volume of incoming materials that require analysis. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Performing chemical analysis on raw materials, primarily using HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography)• Supporting additional analytical testing using a range of techniques as needed• Accurately recording and interpreting data in line with established QC procedures• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards at all times• Working closely with colleagues to meet testing deadlines and project goals

Your background:

This role is ideal for a graduate in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline who is seeking industry experience that a short term contract will provide, or looking to build upon previous lab-based work (e.g., gained through a placement or internship). We're looking for someone who is:

• Familiar with laboratory practices and safety procedures ideally with a strong GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) knowledge. • Comfortable working with analytical instrumentation, particularly chromatography / HPLC• Detail-oriented, methodical, and able to manage time effectively• A team player with a proactive and reliable approach• Available to start immediately and able to commit to a full-time, 3-month contract
