Are you a talented and experienced Software QA Engineer seeking a rewarding opportunity? We are delighted to be partnering with a well established and growing Dorset based Company.

Join the Product Engineering team and work alongside the Product and Development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. As a QA Engineer, you’ll play an essential role in the end-to-end testing process for all products across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the full testing lifecycle (STLC), ensuring the quality of all products
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API applications
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts
  • Create comprehensive test documentation, including test results, bug reports, and defect tracking
  • Identify, report, and track bugs using JIRA, ensuring they are effectively resolved
  • Collaborate with Product and Development teams to define test requirements and improve product quality
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycles (STLC), and defect lifecycles
  • Proficient in both automated and manual testing techniques
  • Experience testing web, mobile, and API applications
  • Skilled in creating detailed documentation, including test plans, results, and bug reports
  • Experience using JIRA for test planning, bug tracking, and defect management
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
