They are currently seeking a QA with a strong understanding of Big Data Sets to join their London-based engineering team on a contract basis.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product functionality and define testing strategies
• Develop & execute test scripts for gathering expected results from data sources and comparing data results from testing
• Leverage Python and SQL to support and evolve testing frameworks
• Testing the quality and consistency of data across the whole data landscape.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A strong academic background
• Proven experience in manual testing, data reconciliation and data quality framework verification
• Solid understanding of Python
• Strong SQL skills (with simple and complex queries)
• Having experience/knowledge working on Spark
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills - able to clearly articulate test outcomes, risks, and recommendations
