Job Description :
Salary: up to £150k + £ 60k bonus (3-8 years of experience) ClientOne of the world's most prestigious hedge funds is looking for a Python developer to join their growing Commodities Rapid Application Development (RAD) team. This is a specialist team of engineers, quantitative developers and data scientists that develops and supports the data, research & trading platform and tools for Commodities Portfolio Managers. Primarily developing end-to-end solutions in Python, you'll work closely with a variety of PM teams ; making a direct impact on the success of their trading strategies. To be successful in this role, you will enjoy facing off to the business, have a desire to work on fast-paced projects and have outstanding communication skills with both financial and technical people. Skills and Experience Required
  • 3-8 years' experience, ideally developing with Python (pandas/numpy)
  • Solid analytical problem-solving skills
  • React/Angular experience developing web frontends
  • Working knowledge of SQL and other database technologies.
Desirable Experience/Skills
  • Financial markets experience in Commodities
  • Python data science stack and/or cloud technologies
