clients, and employees, and SQL queries. In this role, you'll play a key role building a Gen AI system that facilitates seamless communication between users and databases, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in data retrieval and analysis.  Responsibilities include:

• Lead the development of systems with a specific emphasis on AI/ML applications, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and communication layers across hybrid architectures spanning multiple public clouds and private data centers.
• Engineer global-scale backends using microservices or distributed systems, primarily in Python (experience in other languages is advantageous).
• Collaborate on PDF parsing and/or optical character recognition (OCR) projects.
• Construct data pipelines and contribute to large-scale enterprise systems.
• Create robust, reusable code focusing on core engineering principles, including building libraries and frameworks.

Experience Required:

• Strong Python fluency
• Django 
• Experience with GenAI and Machine Learning technologies
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes (preferred but not mandatory).
• Commercial experience in managing systems at scale, handling extensive datasets across multiple regions.
• Ability to advocate for technology strategy vision and developed solutions within a large matrixed organization.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate ideation and conflict management.
• Proficiency in discussing complex technical issues with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including peers and product owners.

This is a hybrid role but flexible - 1-2 days in the office preferred in London to collaborate with the team. The role is outside IR35 and rate range is circa £500-£700 dependent on experience.
