About the RoleGemini People are proud to be working with a respected industrial manufacturer to recruit a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive procurement team within a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
As Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders, maintaining stock levels, building supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. You'll play a vital part in ensuring procurement processes run smoothly and efficiently while supporting key business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and issue purchase orders
Maintain accurate procurement records and update internal systems
Monitor and forecast stock levels to meet current and future demand
Communicate with suppliers regarding lead times, order confirmations, and delivery schedules
Resolve any order discrepancies quickly and effectively
Develop strong internal relationships across relevant departments
Provide support to the Purchasing Manager and wider procurement team
