SF Recruitment are working with a fledgling manufacturing business to a recruit a purchasing Administrator. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to kickstart their career in purchasing to a strong administrator looking for a secure role working for an excellent management team who are passionate about growing & developing staff. 

Job PurposeTo support the Purchasing function by processing and progressing purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, producing documentation, and facilitating the efficient purchasing of goods for contracts.Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase Order Management
  • Progress purchase orders with suppliers for main contracts.
  • Receive and record acknowledgements and advice notes.
  • Input and maintain data on the company's purchasing software and computer systems.
  • Prepare new purchase orders in the system accurately and efficiently.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • File purchase orders, acknowledgements, and advice notes; photocopy and scan documents as needed.
  • Administrative Support
  • Perform general filing and document management related to purchasing function.

Reporting Lines:

  • Must be capable of working independently and without direct supervision
  • I.T literate to a good standard & able to pick new systems up easily
  • Office-based role.
  • Required to meet tight deadlines relating to purchasing, packing, and shipping schedules.

Salary : 24000 - 24000
