Purchase Ledger Permanent Milton Keynes Fully Office Based £27,000 to £30,000 DOEMy client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to be responsible for all aspects of Purchase Ledger and to work as part of a team managing the efficient and accurate accounting of client funds.

Purchase Ledger Responsibilities:

• Implementation of new suppliers, setting up and verifying all relevant information
• Processing invoices onto the accounts system in a timely manner to ensure completeness and accuracy of records, including the coding of invoices to the correct nominals
• Resolving invoice queries
• Reconciling supplier statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Preparing supplier payments for authorisation
• Preparing and supplying informative remittances
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Liaise with utility companies and provide the correct information on an adhoc basis
• Identifying any anomalies on the supplier ledger and resolving

Purchase Ledger, Key Skills:

• Previous Purchase Ledger experience essential
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
• Client focussed
• Team player
• Strong written and verbal communications and inter- personal skills
• Highly organised, ability & flexibility to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to very tight deadlines
• Experience of commercial property accounting an advantage but not essential
