Purchase Ledger Clerk - Macildowie Recruitment and Retention : Job Details

Macildowie are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our clients finance team on a temporary basis for approximately two months. This role will focus on helping them work through a backlog of invoices and ensuring the purchase ledger is kept up to date and accurate.

Location - Burton on Trent

Salary between £13 - £15 per hour depending on experience.

You will be working alongside a team of X5, ensuring that the invoices are processed, will be a 2 month assignment, you will be required to work in the office full time, Monday to Friday. There is car parking available on site.

This is a position starting immediately so must be able to start week commencing 1st September.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing and matching invoices efficiently and accurately

• Reconciling supplier statements

• Handling supplier queries and ensuring issues are resolved promptly

• Supporting the finance team with general purchase ledger duties

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working within a purchase ledger role is essential

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines

• Good communication skills, with confidence in dealing with suppliers
