Sales Ledger Clerk – Permanent Opportunity
Location: Feltham Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Office Based Salary: £27,000
We’re delighted to be working this client who is looking to appoint a Sales Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive finance team within a well-established business based in Feltham.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain reports on outstanding receivables.
- Accurately process and issue sales invoices in a timely manner.
- Allocate customer payments to the correct accounts and invoices.
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue balances.
- Reconcile the sales ledger to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Liaise with customers to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer communications.
- Assist with month-end procedures, including ledger reconciliations and reporting.
- Provide ad hoc support to the wider finance team as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable role.
- Proficiency in Xero and Sage accounting software is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
