Accounts Payable Assistant – Long-Term Temporary Contract Location: West BromwichStart Date: Immediate

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join a well-established business in West Bromwich on a long-term temporary basis, with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and long-standing finance team within a reputable organisation. The company are going through a period of fast growth, this role could potentially change to a permanent opportunity later.

Key Responsibilities:

• Matching, batching, and coding supplier invoices for projects
• Processing supplier payments
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Investigating and resolving invoice queries
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Inter company recharges
• Assisting with month-end reporting

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a complex Accounts Payable role
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and willing to support other areas of finance when needed
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
