Purchase Ledger Clerk | Telford | Temp to Perm | Onsite | £26,000 - £30,000

Seymour John is exclusively partnering with a large manufacturing business in Telford to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global organisation and play a key role in their accounts function. The position involves processing a high volume of invoices and liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process a high volume of purchase invoices.
  • Liaise with the supply chain and procurement teams.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice queries.
  • Communicate professionally with suppliers.
  • Manage payment runs and supplier accounts.
  • Set up and maintain supplier account details.
  • Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Ideally AAT qualified (or equivalent).
  • Proven bookkeeping or purchase ledger experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or in a standalone role.
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  • A resilient, process-driven professional with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in SAP B1 and Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience handling a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
