Based on the outskirts of St. Albans and operating on a nationwide basis, this business is extremely well-established and growing. Initial training to be held in Welwyn Garden City office.
As the Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be accountable for assisting the accounts team on all day-to-day functions within the department.
You will be responsible for the purchase ledger function including data entry accuracy and invoicing.

To be successful:
a) Previous experience of at least 12 months in a similar role within a finance environment would be advantageous.
b) Sound knowledge of accounting principals
c) Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
d) Excellent organisational and time management skills
e) For this role experience of Microsoft Excel skills would be desirable including VLOOKUP
f) Solution orientated who thrives on problem solving.
g) Ability to develop a strong working relationship with all levels of employees and suppliers.
h) Providing administrative support and assistance in providing an efficient and effective service to contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives.
