Your new role

As a TEMP Purchase Ledger Assistant, you'll play a vital role in the finance team, ensuring the smooth processing of supplier invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. You'll be responsible for:

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices
• Matching, batching, and coding invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
• Assisting with payment runs and supporting month-end tasks
• Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely payments

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, SAP, or similar)
• A proactive, team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
• The ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines
